I found this page due to the monster Asian skin care post. Since I can't read it all, can you guys give me some tips on skin care? The products I have on hand are La Roche Posay retinol, Korres vitamin C sleep mask, Ordinary lactic acid, La Roche Posay moisurizer serum, Tata Harper serum, Pixi glow toner, Farmacy balm cleanser, and some mask treatments. Can you give me some tips on how to properly layer products?

Hi! That was me who started it, lol. The rules are thinnest to thickest in the potions and whatnot, BHA before AHA (lactic is AHA), oil or balm cleanse before your main cleanser, acids and actives on clean skin first. If your retinol isn't strong, you'd be ok, but I see a lot of bloggers not using a retinol when using acids to avoid any kind of drying effects (I followed this advice, although I think I was tolerating retinol great and probably could use them all)

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I don't really get dryness from retinol or acids. I'll also make sure I pick up a cleanser to use after I use my balm/oil to remove makeup!
