I’m solo tonight and Sunday and I’m sick. I haven’t felt well since last weekend but it’s manifested into a nasty sinus infection. I have an OB appointment on Tuesday so I decided to suffer through the weekend in hopes that zinc lozenges and Whole Foods juice would somehow cure me. I’m regretting that decision.

I'm dozing on the couch watching Star Trek with E.
I'm having a huge FWP- there is a line of quirky stuffed animals that I love. I've bought a different one for 8 of my nieces and nephews. Now I'm thinking about which one I'll buy my kid, and the one I have my heart set on is not widely available anymore. The only place I can find it is on a website that only ships to the UK. I could pick another one but it's not the saaaaame.

Also, we have our first ultrasound on Monday. Telling our parents afterwards.
Since my parents already have a ton of grandkids I'm more excited to tell the in laws. E and I are both fairly certain his brothers will never have children so I know his mom is going to be stoked.

swiftlyirun, have you ever used a sinus rinse? I use the NeilMed squeeze bottle when I have sinus issues and find it helps tremendously.
We don't have a lot going on this weekend. DH installed Elfa shelving in our closets and the nerd in me is excited to organize and put things away. I tweaked my back yesterday, though, so I need to take it easy.

I'm considering going the Elfa route for at least our master bedroom closet, since the 2nd bedroom closet will need to be for the baby and H's stuff will have to join my clothes. How easy was the installation process?
I’m starting to pack my hospital bag and found my packing list from DS. Hahahahahaha the amount of stuff I am NOT packing this time around from that list is comical. Some of it I probably should confirm the new hospital provides since I think we are switching, but most of it was stuff I was thinking I *might* need and of course never even considered getting out of the bag.
I finally got the info for and contacted the housekeeper my friends use and she’s coming by tomorrow to see the house/scope. Baby girl will be in our room initially so getting her room (formerly the cat room) cleaned isn’t a super emergency but I’m not moving furniture in until it’s done so hoping she can squeeze us in at least for that portion reasonably soon. I’d like the option of her and I sleeping in her room if/as needed, not that doing that needs much furniture- just a guest bed from another room, the pack n play is on wheels or maybe she won’t hate the bassinet we were given for DS like he did lol.

My H is reasonably handy and he was able to do each closet (he’s done five now) in a couple hours. (Our closets have bi-fold doors and are not walk-ins.) The most time-consuming part is installing the rack at the top from which everything else hangs, so he took his time and triple checked measurements before drilling. Once that part is installed, things move pretty quickly. Elfa is on sale at the Container Store right now, so now is the time to do it!
