1. How far along are you? 37+4 (it feels like more than that)

2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I’m being induced Thursday!! (Unless my fluid has dropped more at today’s US in which case they’ll induce me today I guess). I have planned everything out for Thursday so hopefully it goes according to plan. I’m soooo uncomfortable.

4. What is your best nesting tip? Organizing favorites?
I really like this organization cart. I have it in DD1s room and got another for the nursery. I use it for diapers, shoes, blankets right now.

I have hit the point where Disney JR is parenting my kids this morning- mainly because I’m sick and DD1 is sick and it’s 24 degrees out, so... puppy dog pals it is.

There is a lot going on with DH work wise right now and the stress it’s putting on both of us is hard. Such bad timing, but when do bad things ever happen at a good time? Just ready for baby to be here.

I love using a over the door shoe organizer for baby socks/tights/shoes.

2. Anatomy Scan a week today! We did the panorama and everything on the NT came back okay so trying not to stress. We also already know the gender. H is in full tear it down mode and taking on so many house projects. He is currently ripping off the dry wall in DS's room and adding insulation and getting it all ready for his big boy bed which should be coming in this week so we can transition him to that and then put the crib in the nursery to start setting that up. Still lots of time but so much to do. I also told H I would prefer an over hanging light in the nursery vs the light they have now that just gets plugged in and is only by the door to the room, which makes the room so dark so I guess he's got to rip the ceiling out of that room next lol.

4. Dont do what we are doing and taking on a bunch of large projects lol.

2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I'm finally meeting with a nutritionist about my GD later this week. I've been testing my blood sugar 4x a day and my numbers look good so far with the diet modifications I've made. I hope the nutritionist agrees! We got rid of all of our baby gear when we moved from TX to NC a few years ago, and I'm trying to buy a lot of things used this time around. I've been stalking BST sites nonstop for the past few weeks and I think I have almost everything we need. The new daybed for our office should arrive this week, and then we can get rid of the bed in our guest room and officially convert the room to the nursery. Eek!

Got the housekeeper booked for a week from today, so baby girl needs to stay put until 38 weeks and then can come anytime. I’m almost done with my hospital bag.

Don’t wait til the last minute like I did haha. Also go ahead and toddler proof early, DS needed it so much earlier than I anticipated!

Did our genetic screening so we’ll get results including the sex today. Hoping to hear results from that soon. We’ll share the news with 4yo dd if the results come back clear.

Make small baskets with things you use frequently for both floors. Snacks, burp clothes, Advil. If you get stuck under a baby it helps to be able to reach for those things.

This weekend I found out that three of my friends are also expecting LOs in June & July. Everyone seemed to have been waiting until 2nd tri to announce. I'm happy to not be the only one with a newborn this summer, and to have others to talk baby stuff with irl.

What's your favorite website to research nursery furniture and other pricey baby supplies?

My uterus is SORE and I am very well aware of it when I move. I assume it will just kind of be this way from here on out.

So far from nesting, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had done a very good job of cleaning out the closet in the extra room when I checked to see how much work it would be to get ready for the nursery. So my best advice is to have done the work already. LOL

I had my baby shower on Sunday. It was so beautiful! My friends threw it for me and I was speechless at how much thought and effort went into it. We put together the sleeper and I've washed all the NB and 0-3 month clothes. I feel like if baby girl came home tomorrow we'd be prepared enough lol

At my appointment yesterday the doctor wrote in my OB visits card that I had trace protein in my urine. This is the first time that's happened. My blood pressure was 122/67 and I haven't had any swelling. Has anyone else had traces of protein in their urine? How did the rest of the pregnancy go?

I’ve had trace protein in my urine like 3 times. Not in a row. No clue—it’s negative now at 38 weeks and my BP is borderline.

Yes I did at one visit - they said I could have been slightly dehydrated. Was your appointment in the morning? Mine was first thing and I hadn’t had enough water. It was fine the next week with no fluids.

No, it was in the afternoon. But my urine was unusually dark so perhaps I hadn't had enough water in the day yet...

I'm going to cautiously join in. DH and I have been together for nearly 12 years and have a dog, but this will be baby #1.

1. How far along are you? 9+5.

2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? My ultrasound tech wasn't able to tell me anything last week, but I met with my doctor today and there is a baby measuring right on track with a heart rate in the 160s.

3. Questions for the group? How long did your first appointment with your midwife or OB take? I'm meeting my midwife Friday morning and am wondering how long I should expect it to take.

4. What is your best nesting tip? Organizing favorites? Obviously I'm too early for experience myself, but my favourite things as a nanny have been 1) drawer dividers for dressers to keep tiny clothes organized and 2) bins with lids that can either be labeled and/or are clear for shelves, closets, etc so you don't need to dig through to see what's in them.

My first appointment took about an hour. I was new to the practice and we went through the medical history of my first pregnancy.

1. How far along are you?
I went in for my first ultrasound on Monday- baby was measuring at 7 weeks 1 day, which is a few weeks behind the "date of your last period" estimate. I'm a little bummed, I'm eager to get past the 12 week mark, but we got to see baby's heartbeat, which was trippy/cool. New due date is September 6.

We told my husbands parents on Monday night and they are super excited. This will be their first grandchild.

Is there anything I can do to make the burping stop? I feel so gross.

No induction story due to BP, but I was induced at 41+1 and it was great! I had my baby med free and super fast.
