I have been kind of in love with this mangowood furniture they've had at Marshall's lately...I got two endtables:
and then a console table for my hallway.
I kept thinking that it was too bad that they never had a coffee table, since I've been looking to replace mine for awhile and can't find the right one. Today I went to a different Marshall's and they had a coffee table in the same style that was PERFECT!
Unfortunately, they broke it getting it into the car...broke the leg right off! So, now I'll be stalking Marshall's for the next few weeks hoping to find one again. I'm surprised, normally Marshall's doesn't have big furniture and Home Goods does, but for these it seems to be the opposite. Anyway, wish me luck!
Those are fabulous. Shame about the leg on the coffee table - is it at all fixable?
Yeah, sadly it didn't seem like a fix would be possible, at least with my limited no-how. It was really shoddy construction for such a heavy piece, but the wood itself was so pretty that I would have put up with it and potentially fixed it if it broke after I got it home!
I visited 3 stores today...one of them said they had one and sold it, so at least hopefully there are more out there!

can they look it up for you? I know Tuesday morning tracks their inventory items by store location.
Nice finds! Also ask when new deliveries come in and go next day if possible

Let me know if you don't find one, I can check my local Home Goods, I'm not too terribly far from you (I'm in MontCo).
Thanks! No need to make a special trip, but if you happen to be there keep your eye out. :-) I tried like five different Marshall's, plus two HomeGoods and one HomeSense. With a few TJ Maxx's sprinkled in there. It seems like it's mostly Marshall's that carries that line of furniture. One of them said they had one and sold it. :-( I even went back to the original place to see if I could buy that broken one and repair it but they threw it in the dumpster.
IDK if it's just that the HomeSense is still opening up, but it was pretty bad. There was a lot of furniture, but almost every piece was very damaged. Like, end tables with bent legs, dining tables with a big chunk out of the trim -- and not in the Clearance section, just out on the shelves. They were still hiring, though, so maybe they just stocked it with rejects at first and it'll get better. Not worth the trip IMO though.

I drive past it every day on my way home from work. I'm not in the office today, but if I think of it, I'll try to stop by tomorrow. I also have a Marshall's near next to my grocery store, so I can check there too.

You're so sweet, thank you! I would definitely drive to go get it!
