this is a "good neighbor hotel" and if the stars align we will have enough points to cover a stay in May. it looks super close to the park! We are mainly heading there to do all the Star Wars thing but will likely end up with a two-day pass just to hit a lot of it too.

I think I stayed there for a night with escrow but I'm not 100% sure. Its about a 10-15 minute walk from the parks so not far but can seem like it at the end of the day. There is a CVS and Walgreens right on the corner of Harbor and Katella plus a ton of casual and quick service options close by. It is close to the Toy Story parking lot for the parks so you can always use that as a way to get there if you are feeling lazy or want to give your feet a break.
I’ve stayed at loads of hotels on that strip, as it’s popular for conferences in my program. For our personal trips, we like to stay in places that have breakfast, but that’s partly because it’s easier for the family. If that’s something you like, check the Homewood Suites, which could be booked on the same points. It’s right across the street from the Hilton convention center. The Homewood is very new, which was nice. It has an efficiency kitchen, so you can easily make your own coffee, grab breakfast, and then walk in. We also got DoorDash dinners, when we didn’t make it to close.
We find these hotels super convenient for walking in. One day, I sent my husband ahead and they did the toy story parking bus, while I left a few minutes later and walked. I entered at the same time they did. 😄
The toy story parking lot is a great option if you’re tired at the end of the day, but we only used it when my kiddo was 5 and whiny AF.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
I haven’t stayed at the Hilton but I have at the Homewood Suites and would highly recommend it!
Ditto. We liked the rooms, the breakfast (despite the crowds down there) and the location next to the parking lot because with littles it was so much easier to just hop on the bus.
We’ve stayed there three times. It’s walkable but a longer walk than some others since it’s behind CA. They have a Starbucks in the lobby so you can drink your coffee on the walk over.
We actually liked the Courtyard better. Both have a great pool and kids splash area/water slides and the courtyard was significantly closer distance to be park entrance and is also a good neighbor hotel.
