Headed out to meet up with folks for a short run around my neighborhood. Getting a local nestie friend to come out for her first SRTT run after she's lurked for ages. 🥰
No swim today because kid stuff. (Scout pinewood derby)
I am doing a group ride and think a couple of my cycling clubmates and a teammate (race teammate) are going to show up. It rolls in groups by average speed, so I'll probably be in the B+ group without any of them.
The rest of the day is grocery shopping, getting a few things done around the house, and nothing exciting tonight.
Good morning! I'm heading to my gym's healthy living challenge kickoff. They're going to measure our bodyfat and a few body measurements, lecture us for a bit, then do a benchmark workout I think. 65 days later, we'll re-measure and see if cutting sugar and alcohol has made a difference.

This sounds very cool! Please update us when it is complete!
I’m up and about to head to the gym for 5 easy miles. I really need this snowy, icy weather to stop soon so I can get tomorrow’s run done outside. I’m over winter.
I think I need to bite the bullet at some point soon about getting surgery on my ankle. The thing about my injury is that it only starts hurting with activity. I’m sticking with mostly indoor running because it’s short intervals and I can do it. last night I was dancing in my living room and my ankle was killing me. It’s not getting any better. I just do not want to be laid up for six plus weeks. But I also want to do more things like run outside more, sign up for some races. It’s been about five years since I’ve done a triathlon. I could do it during the summer, but summer break would suck! Ughhhh. Rant over.

I survived a long trail run, and it went better than expected. I went at my own pace instead of trying to keep up with other people, so I had enough energy in reserve to make it to the end.
Now I need to do some stretching and rolling and hope my legs will let me run a 10k tomorrow. Eek.
