Carpet

Most of the house is hardwood flooring. I love it but my H and his mother are carpet people. The only carpet right now is on the stairs and upper hallway. They both want it for the bedrooms, so we compromised and we're getting it for my MIL and the master bedroom. We went this morning to pick out the carpet and make an appointment for them to measure it all.

My MIL liked this colour (sorry these are huge):




And we picked this for our bedroom:




They both have a 10 year guarantee for stains and wear, and they are super, duper soft! Step one toward making the new house ours, completed.

At least I've convinced them not to do the ground floor (we'll get a rug or two) and I have free reign over the guest bedrooms!

The new carpets in the bedrooms in our house are super squishy soft. Standing on them and like stretching my feet is as good as a foot rub.

Those are both nice colours. I approve!
