We're going to FL to visit family in early March and will have 1 day to do something fun in the Orlando area before we spend the rest of the time with family in the Sanford area. Any suggestions on what to do with a 1 year old and almost 5 year old? We've ruled out Disney as I think it will be too hard with the 1 year old (maybe next year). I was considering LegoLand but not sure if it will also be too much walking, etc. We'll only have a single stroller and DD1 doesn't have a lot of endurance for long days walking, etc. I'm kind of looking for something that isn't too expensive and will be fun for about 3 hours before we head back to a hotel for DD2's nap.
I'll also take hotel suggestions if you have them! Thx!

Orlando Science Center- They also participate in reciprocal membership, so if you are member of a local science center you maybe able to get in for free. www.osc.org/
My kids are 7, but last year we went to The Reptile Discovery Center- if you like snakes they show how they milk them for venom. It was really interesting. www.reptilediscoverycenter.com/
The zoo- if you are a member of your local zoo, you may get a discount with reciprocal membership. www.centralfloridazoo.org/
ETA: I read the question a little wrong. Some of these things are closer to or in Sanford, so maybe something to do when you visit family.

No worries, this is really helpful too as we will need to entertain the kids there too! We've done the Zoo before and loved it, we will definitely go back. Thx for the other recs!
