Recent passport renewal timing questions...

I know the application says i can take 6-8 weeks to process. I'm just curious to hear how long people have really been waiting. A friend said they got it in 4 weeks, renewing in December. Another friend said it took over 12 weeks when they renewed on the fall.

I renewed early January and am not expecting it until March but it would be nice to get it earlier! I need it by mid-April and am trying to decide if I need to find my birth certificate for backup (closed loop cruise)

I renewed mine and "renewed" my son's (whole new app since he's only 10) and we got them back in about 5 weeks in the fall.

We got them back quick, like in 4 weeks.

Nephew sent in on Dec 4 and got it back the week of Jan 18.

I just renewed all three of my kids in January.  I got the first one back in just over 4 weeks.  Still waiting on the other 2 (applied 1/28).  Website says they're in process so I expect them in the next few weeks.
