Since it's been quiet here let's try this rather than separate threads...
Sat half gone here on the East coast. I accidentally ran extra miles during the week (wrong turn) so I skipped my short run today. Got a nice low key swim in and then I'm headed to a lock-in with shorti and a bunch of Cub scouts. Wish me luck. 8 miles tomorrow after the lack of sleep sure to come tonight should be interesting.

I skipped my trail run today and met some friends to run on roads instead. I had plans today and I couldn’t spend 6 hours running and driving to/from the trail. It was good to run with friends who I haven’t seen in a while.
My husband works all weekend so I don’t have many options. I did strength at the gym today. I’d like to trail run tomorrow but I’m waiting to hear about a sitter.
I joined a second gym. We belong to a fancy gym with all the amenities (which I love) and I can do that Tues right after work at Sat. My son has practice a half hour away, but there are no safe neighborhoods near. I joined a cheap $10/month gym and have been using the treadmill twice a week in the evening. That way I am still getting enough sleep without having to wake up at 4something to get a run in, and otherwise I would just be playing on my phone during that time.

I'm mostly working all weekend so I can finish up a really big deal proposal that would be absolutely amazing if I got selected (participating scientist on the Mars 2020 rover - baller!!), so that's top priority. This means I'm mostly just hunched over staring at a computer screen all weekend. But we did manage to get out for an absolutely BEAUTIFUL snowy, sunny, and warm (55*) family hike this afternoon, and I'll be doing my long run (12 mi) on the treadmill tonight. Another 8 mi on the plan for tomorrow. And hopefully finishing up this proposal.
I was supposed to run on trails for my 12 today, but I'm not the hugest fan of running on fresh, not totally packed down snow because that's when I have the highest chance of rolling my ankles (it hides the rocks really well). So between that and the proposal deadline, the treadmill it is this week!
It snowed here in Atlanta this morning. I was on the south end of it, and the snow turned to rain after about 2 hours. It's currently bright and sunny out but still freezing. I rode the trainer for 75 minutes. Whomp Whomp. It will be freezing again tomorrow, and I have to ride from the house. I have my race team's yearly meeting tomorrow and need time to actually look like I didn't just do a bike ride (as in actual make up and hair done) for photos.
We've been getting the most beautiful picture perfect snowfall for 3 days so yesterday I swapped out my run for a long snowshoe date with DH and this morning I'm taking the hound to my favorite hilly park for another hike. It's like a snowglobe outside with lightly falling, minimal wind...perfect. So many people hate on the snow around here but when it's pretty and fluffy like this I can't get enough.
Rest day yesterday. Today I met a friend to run. I showed up and she was running 8 miles, so I said I'd do 5. We ended up doing 6 because I was feeling good at 4. She did the last 2 by herself, but definitely appreciated the company. Now my legs are super tired, my longest runs lately have only been 3 miles.

Crossfit today. I really wanted to get my butt in gear to run yesterday morning before work, but it didn't happen. Oh well! I've been sticking to my other workouts so I'm happy about that.
My 8 miles today were in fact interesting. Sloooow was the plan. So tired, and my tummy wasn't 100%, but I got it done. It was actually really nice to really just relax and run (and walk) with no deadline in nice weather.
