Trump repeatedly asked Reince Priebus if Wisconsin badgers are 'mean to people,' how they 'work,' and what they eat, according to a new book
Trump would raise these questions while Priebus was trying to brief him on domestic and foreign policy, the book said.
At one point, Trump reportedly also asked Priebus whether badgers have a "personality" or if they are boring, and he wondered if Priebus could show him pictures of badgers.

"Collins is everything Georgians hate about Washington," said Kevin McLaughlin, the executive director of the NRSC. "He is a swamp creature that claims to be conservative. ... Now, having made an emotional, ill-informed and selfish decision, he finds himself at a crossroads.

I know this isn’t funny but I legitimately cannot stop laughing. Oh my goddddd.
Me, too. This is the most relatable thing I think I've seen Trump do.
True story I'm telling all my coworkers about this because I am a known badger enthusiast. It started when I started working with partners in Wisconsin and their Medicaid program is literally called BadgerCare. Which is hilarious and so cute and I'm so fascinated by it.

I think we have to be in the streets. We are smart, capable women. We have connections. What can we do together?
They are hoping that while we are pouring all our energy into the election, they can turn us completely into an autocracy and then it will be too late. I think we have to stop it now. Protests. People in the streets. I don’t know.
On the one hand, we have jobs. On the other hand, I’m terrified.
A Wisconsin Assembly Committee is boring today on whether to let bars stay open until 4am during the DNC. If that’s not peak Wisconsin, I don’t know what is.

I’m not sure what it says about California but they’ve been debating this for several years, regardless of conventions. I think SF wants it.

The Senate approved a bipartisan measure Thursday limiting President Donald Trump’s authority to launch military operations against Iran.
The measure, authored by Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., says Trump must win approval from Congress before engaging in further military action against Iran. Eight Republicans joined with Democrats to pass the resolution by a 55-45 vote.

In theory this is good but I am not sure it will impact anything. This seems like something he might just ignore. What are the consequences if he ignores it? He had not seen any so far, so I am skeptical.
Illinois is the white tailed deer. I remember voting for it in grade school. I just looked it up and they let Illinois school children vote for it in 1980. Kind of cool that they did it that way and that it has stuck with me. I don't think I voted for the deer. I wanted the rabbit.
