President Trump ignored Attorney General William Barr’s public request to stop tweeting about the Justice Department. Trump tweeted that he had the legal right to ask the agency to intervene in a criminal case, but he's so far “chosen not to.”
Breaking via NYT: A.G. Barr has assigned an outside prosecutor to scrutinize the criminal case against Michael Flynn, according to people familiar with the matter.
The review is highly unusual and could trigger more accusations of political interference.

I know its pointless, but my husband's great-aunt shared a post on Facebook today that said "Don't be fooled by Democrats' claim that Donald Trump is slashing Medicaid. The part he is slashing is the free stuff to illegals." (Actually it was less grammatically correct than that, but I fixed it here.)
I Googled to confirm my belief that undocumented immigrants can't receive Medicaid (seeyalater52 , Google said that was true, can you confirm?) and then posted on her post to say that it was inaccurate and the premise from which it derived was false. Probably will do nothing, but ugh.

Theoretically a state could allow undocumented folks to enroll in Medicaid but I’m not sure any have? Maaaaybe California? The state would have to use state dollars to pay for it, since they are restricted from use of federal funds.
Fucking ironic claim to make honestly given that Medicaid use among LEGAL immigrants is so severely restricted (see: 5 year bar, public charge etc.)

Yep, CA is the only state as of now that allows adults who are undocumented to have government health insurance and it's only to adults under the age of 25.

Thank you! I knew that was floating around in my brain somewhere. I really only specialize in states that *don’t*do amazing things to extend Medicaid coverage to new populations so my blue state knowledge is pretty thin.
have you seen the nj twitter account? It’s pretty funny
My childhood friend is the mastermind behind that! She was even featured in rolling stone magazine because of it!!!! It’s so hilarious! I loved the duel with Delaware!
