I did a 2 hr trail run with some new running buddies. It was cold! But eventually I warmed up. I’m tired. It’s been a long week. The kids are stressing me out and I can’t stop eating chocolate.
Howdy! I had an extra early start to meet some friends for a point to point run, where we met at 5:10. I’m a deadbeat who was last to arrive even though I live closest. 😬 Three of us did 16, while three more who are training for a 50 miler did 24. It was fun to try some new roads, and I even got a Strava CR and a few top 10s. Ha!
I followed it up by finally registering for the March 29th marathon I’ve been training for. Oh yeah, necessary step!

It was cold here, too, 17 degrees when I started my run this morning, but it was sunny and I warmed up quickly, and it ended up being great. It was cold enough that the ground stayed solid and didn’t turn into a muddy mess. I stayed with a group of about 10 people, and then I added a little bit at the end.
It was cold when I started this morning. I skipped my planned group road ride b/c of the windchills in the 30s. I'm in GA; I don't do cold. I did 25 miles of gravel instead.

...and the yoga studio was a hot yoga studio that was not supposed to have the heat on for us. It was almost 120 degrees, and I had to say no to the seminar. I know the limitations of my body and what that temp will do to me. At least my car got an oil change and tire rotation. Whomp Whomp.
(Disclaimer: My teammate teaching the seminar had talked w/the studio owner who assured her the heat would not be cranked up. She felt SO bad!)
