My eyesight is pretty horrible without glasses on when I ride. I am wearing a pair of Oakley prescription glasses that are a couple years old and need to be replaced. I ordered some generic "sports glasses" from Zenni a couple months ago when I got the pair for leaving in front of the tv and an extra for my purse. The lenses are fine, but the glasses sit out really far from my face. You want them closer to your face with cycling. I need "full frame" glasses aka ones that have a full frame and not a partial or "half" frame that is style now for cycling b/c of my prescriptioon (I'm looking at you new Oakley line). Most major glasses frame manufacturers offer at least one of those, and I have a couple in mind that I'd like.
Are there any other sports prescription glasses companies besides SportRx? They are good, but it's expensive! I'm trying to keep the cost somewhat not in the stratosphere.
Assume that buying something locally is not possible and assume lasik/eye surgery is not an option right now no matter how amazing it is. (Please don't even recommend it).
I have the Oakley Flak 2.0 and I love them. Highly recommend 👍 They are lightweight, they don't slip around or fog up, and they're going strong after 2 years
