4. Do you plan to have any visitors/helpers immediately after giving birth? Has this been a source of tension at all with your spouse or family?

2. Starting to get uncomfortable. Also started getting migraines that come up when I have to look at a computer - which is what I do all day.

3. Nope.

4. With DS, my H was off for 2 weeks and then my mom stayed with us for the 2 weeks after. This time, H will be on paternity leave for the first 6 weeks but my mom may come by for a few days as well. MIL asked if she could visit for a few days last time but told us she wasnt coming to "help and do dishes or anything I just want to hold the baby" so we told her no. The one time she did come visit, I went up to the nursery to nurse DS and MIL decided she couldnt wait as she was STARVING and served herself dinner and started eating. She is ridiculous and I told H that she will not be staying with us this time either.

2. We found out this weekend that SIL (H's sister) is 4w pregnant. So DS may have a cousin who will be about 14w younger than him! It's very early for her, and her pregnancy is high risk in a couple of different ways, but we are very excited to the possibility.

3. How do you store your regular clothes while you are wearing maternity clothes? I'm researching for good temporary storage items right now.

4. I'm not sure how I'll feel after L&D and our home isn't large, so we haven't agreed to have anyone stay or offer extended help. I'm hoping for quick visits to meet the baby, so we can get used to our new family dynamics.

I have a plastic tote that I am putting clothes in as I no longer fit them. It is helpful that I fall/winter storage and spring/summer. It is getting to the point where I might as well store all the dang clothes in my closet, except for cardigans, jackets and a few dresses.

I am getting dangerously close to running out of clothes in my closet. I am ordering more maternity wear because what does fit is very unflattering.

3. Questions for the group?

4. Do you plan to have any visitors/helpers immediately after giving birth? Has this been a source of tension at all with your spouse or family? I am not sure. My in laws want to come up, but I might ask they stay in a hotel. I can't see them being the helpful type, even though they are lovely people.

2. B (3yo) went to the toy store this morning with H and picked out a pink stuffed flamingo to give to "Baby Sister." So sweet! He talks about her a lot, and keeps asking if it's summer yet (I'm due in June).

3. Anyone have opinions on best OTC heartburn relief? Last time, I was on Zantac the entire second half of my pregnancy but that's out this time around.

4. H only could take a few days off when B was born, but this time he will be mostly off for several months, which will be a huge help. My ILs live 10 mins away so I'm sure they'll be over a bunch, and I think my parents will probably also come to visit within a week or two. We just moved from a small condo to a much bigger house, so I am happy to have them come visit; they will be helpful and there's plenty of space. Depending on how the baby sleeps and how I'm feeling, I'm also open to a night nurse a couple times a week.

I’ve had random kids at school ask about the baby- apparently I’m showing lol
I also made a baby purchase. I found some Christmas clothes on clearance.

4. Do you plan to have any visitors/helpers immediately after giving birth? Has this been a source of tension at all with your spouse or family?
Our families live within 15 min of us. People will come for visits but no overnight guests. I have been fairly insistent on no one waiting on us in the waiting room in the hospital. I didn’t want to stress thinking they were all just sitting there. Last time they came after we were moved from recovery.
