House move update

So, I would never want anyone to see our house right now as it's filled with an insane number of boxes and bags and other crap all over. Having to work after moving sucks. Plus we keep getting more and more deliveries as we need certain things (or want, in the case of the elliptical machine, which is sitting in a box right now).

Positively, the electrician has come for most of the day today and fixed a lot of the lighting issues and put in the light fixtures in the bedrooms and on the top floor terrace. He still has to put light fixtures in the living room, wire up lights for the backyard (one that is on sensor and one that we can turn on), finish up putting an electrical outlet outside and that's about it (I think). I'm quite pleased so far with the lights.

We also now have a washer and dryer. They take forever (more eco friendly) but that's fine. 

And, we had our fireplace and stove checked - so tonight we've put on our first fire (which is good as we were having heating issues on the ground floor and it took a long time to figure it out so the downstairs is cold). It also smells so nice as we got really good wood.



We'll get there eventually (having my brother and SIL coming in early March helps!).

you are in! That is what matters. Everything else can take its time once everyone is in their own beds.

Moving sucks but seeing it start to come together is fun. I'm so happy for you!!
