2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week?
3. Questions for the group?
4. Is this baby your first and/or last kid? What are your ideal plans for the future in terms of family size?
1. 25w2d today
2. We just got back from Japan a few days ago. It was such a fun vacation, but Iām having a hard time adjusting to the time change and going back to work. I also made the mistake of weighing myself this week and somehow was up 4 lbs. Iām hoping that was just fluid accumulation from the flight.
3. Not this week
4. My husband told me heās done after this baby, so I think our family will be complete with 3 kids. Iād be okay with having another baby in an ideal world, but Iāll be happy with 3 kids too. We canāt afford 4 kids in the area we are currently living (VHCOL).

1. 19w, 4d
2. I think I can feel the baby move now. The movements aren't very regular yet, but he seems most active starting first thing in the morning, again around 4pm, then again right before bed. It doesn't feel like bubbles or butterfly flutters, more like tiny pokes/pinches. I think he was really active on Monday when I was grocery shopping, and it made me dizzy and I had to have H finish the shopping while I sat on a bench outside.
3. With your 20-week "anatomy" ultrasound(s) (mine is sched. for March 4th) - did the u/s tech give any hints during the u/s that everything was okay/not okay? I know the OBGYN is the one who gives you the final results, but wondering if the techs generally give any hints to okay/not at the time of the appointment. How long did it take your OBGYN/midwife to give you the results from the u/s?
4. This is my 1st baby/pregnancy. I really hope we have a 2nd child, and H is open to the idea so it's a maybe depending on my delivery experience and how we handle having a newborn. If we start TTC again, it will probably be around DS's 1st b-day. I always wanted three kids, but due to the timing of the Great Recession and how it affected H & I, living in a VHCOL, and now my age, I don't think that will happen, unless the next pregnancy is twins.
madDawg228 - My tech didnt really give any hints but my OB told me after that if the techs go through and show you the images/baby and hint or tell you the gender that it indicates that everything is fine. He said that with his experience, the techs are usually more tight lipped if they see an issue but that just may be at my hospital. (My OB was the head of OB at a large hospital and was there for like 40+ years lol).

I guess I very cautiously go here now.
1. How far along are you? 6+3 today.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? We had our first ultrasound on Monday at 6+1 and baby had a nice strong heartbeat. We did PGS testing so we already know the sex, which is wild and very exciting.
3. Questions for the group? Iām sure Iāll have questions about everything. This is my 5th pregnancy in 2 years and the first time we have even made it to a good heartbeat so while I want to be excited we are also just so scared.
4. Is this baby your first and/or last kid? What are your ideal plans for the future in terms of family size? If we have this baby it will probably be our first (living) child and also our last. Itās hard to imagine going through all of what we did to get here again. We do have 3 more embryos frozen (2 PGS normal and 1 no result) so itās possible we may decide later on to try for a second, if finances allow.

1. How far along are you? 36 weeks. Yikes.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Oh man, I still have so much to do before this baby arrives. Like, you know, come up with a name! We're down to three or four, so I've been saying them out loud all week to see if one feels right. I have my first NST tomorrow morning, so fingers crossed it goes well because I am not ready for this baby to arrive.
3. Questions for the group? Does anyone have a good list of what to pack in your hospital bag? I should probably get around to that soon, and I cannot remember what I brought for DS.
4. Is this baby your first and/or last kid? What are your ideal plans for the future in terms of family size? Last for sure. It took us a long time to decide if we even wanted a second child and I don't think my body could take another pregnancy.
madDawg228, the tech did not give any hints with either of my babies (different clinic for each). A doctor told us the results in person immediately following the scan both times.
2. Movement has really picked up recently and DH is able to feel it more consistently from the outside too. At night when I am laying in bed you can sometimes see the stomach rolls already.
3. Nope
4. This is our second, probably last. I always wanted 2, H wanted 3-4 and I was open to 3 but after so many years of IVF and all the money we had to spend I think we are done. If it happens naturally, it will be a welcomed surprise but we are happy with 2. We also live in a VHCOL city and I dont want to give up our home in the city and I really dont think we can fit a 3rd kid in our house. I also want to travel etc and I think it will be a lot harder for us financially if we do have a third.

1. How far along are you? 15w3d 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Iām maybe coming out of the 1st tri haze?
3. Questions for the group?
4. Is this baby your first and/or last kid? What are your ideal plans for the future in terms of family size? This is our 2nd and last. Weāve always said 2. Dh was leaning 1 and done for a while. Iām glad to have this ālastā pregnancy experience. I was sad to think DD was it.

1. How far along are you?
14+4
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week?
At my midwife appointment last week I found out my risks after my NT are <1:20,000 so that is a relief. I also scheduled my anatomy scan! As for vents, I am still waiting for that promised 2nd tri energy. I'm no longer falling asleep by mid-morning but I am still very tired and run down.
3. Questions for the group?
4. Is this baby your first and/or last kid? What are your ideal plans for the future in terms of family size? This is baby #1. For years my husband and I have both said we would likely have 3 kids in fairly close succession. Obviously that may change once we become parents, but we like that dynamic in our families. I've nannied for a family that had 3 kids in just over 4 years since the youngest was an infant and while it can be crazy at times, I also really enjoy it.

1. How far along are you?
12w4d. I'm excited to be out of the first trimester.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week?
E and I are trying to think of a mini vacation we can go on this summer pre-baby, but I'm having a hard time guessing how I'm going to feel in a few months and what I'm going to be up to doing.
3. Questions for the group?
Best car seat/stroller recs?
4. Is this baby your first and/or last kid? What are your ideal plans for the future in terms of family size?
This is our first child. I think we should have 2, E thinks 3. We will see how it works out.

1. How far along are you? 22w,2d
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Walking any sort of distance hurts, and it's dumb. I did go to the chiropractor last week and it changed my life. My tailbone no longer hurts. I see him again tomorrow.
3. Questions for the group? Anything I can do to make walking more pleasant?
4. Is this baby your first and/or last kid? What are your ideal plans for the future in terms of family size? First kid, possibly last. We may think about a second, but not sure if we will try for another biological child.
2. My cervix has been measuring short since my 20 week a/s, but it was looking stable at my next scan a couple weeks ago. Now, at today's scan, it had shortened a bunch again. Ugh. I think I'm going to have to cancel a trip I have scheduled to Key West for the end of March.
3. No questions at the moment.
4. It's my second and probably last. I have a 3 year old son, as well. Pregnancy has been really miserable for me both times, and I just don't want to do this again.
madDawg228, the tech did not say anything but I knew something was not right at my a/s because she spent a really long time looking at my cervix and making me press this way and that. Then she did a transvaginal ultrasound, and said the doctor would be in to take a look shortly. Today, when it was even shorter, the tech still did not say anything but I had seen the numbers as she measured.
verycontrary247, I think this probably depends a lot on your lifestyle and how much you will use a stroller. With our first, we lived downtown and commuted by foot year-round, over lots of cobblestone sidewalks. I was very happy to have an Uppababy Vista, which is a beast and really amazing. Plus it has a huge basket, which was great for hauling groceries, diaper bags, work bags, and often all of the above. It was used way more than our car, until we moved from the city a couple months ago, so it was a good investment. We have the Uppababy Mesa carseat, which is super easy to click right into the Vista, but is not the lightest option out there. Anyway, if you don't think you'll use it super frequently or in tough conditions, there are probably lots of more affordable good options out there. Congrats on Team Pink!

1. How far along are you? 10W6d
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I am ready for 1st tri nausea to be over with.
3. Questions for the group?
4. Is this baby your first and/or last kid? What are your ideal plans for the future in terms of family size? this is our 2nd baby and will most likely be our last due to age and finances and we always wanted just 2.
verycontrary247, We got a click connect stroller for use with just the car seat and I LOVED that thing. When she outgrew that, we switched to a city mini stroller and i STILL use it (she is 3 now and super tall). LOVE my city mini.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I keep catching myself thinking I can't wait until the baby is born so I can sleep comfortably, but in reality how much sleep will I be getting once baby is here?! lol We're ready for her to come. I'm just getting sentimental about our last couple weeks as a family of 3. We've developed such a strong unit with the the three of us. Baby girl is very much anticipated and welcomed and wanted, but just the thought of things changing makes me emotional. Mostly for DS. He is SO SO SO excited to meet his baby sister, but I get choked up thinking about how his life will never be the same as he's used to having it for 9 years. I don't even know if this makes sense.
Long story short, I get emotional thinking about going from a family of 3 to a family of 4.
3. Questions for the group? None
4. Is this baby your first and/or last kid? What are your ideal plans for the future in terms of family size? This is baby #2 and I'd like to have one more. DS is 9 and I'd like to have the next one within 2 years so that the two younger ones can have each other to grow up with.

Iām not sure how I ended up in here, but I thought Iād reply to your question about the anatomy scan. During my first pregnancy, our daughter was found to have fatal heart defects at the anatomy scan. The tech told us what he thought it was ā I mean... it was pretty obvious something was wrong because the scan took almost two hours. My doctor called me a few hours later to go over the results and get me set up with a MFM the next day. With the next pregnancy and anatomy scan, the tech told us everything looked great, but that scan was at an MFM office with a doctor appointment scheduled immediately following the scan. Good luck with your scan š
