International Money Transfers

I used to do this when I first moved to the US with xe.com, but its been about 10 years, so I figured I'd see if there are better options.

My parents probate will be closing in the next couple of months and while I'm unsure on the amount, I'd guess between 150k and 200k in Euro.

Speed isn't a concern. Nerdwallet seems to recommend OFX for large amounts - does anyone have experience with them? Any personal suggestions?

I signed up for WorldFirst after my boss recommended them. He has used them professionally for years. We moved from Europe to the US and also sold a house so we had to send a large amount.

I haven’t used them but I have heard a lot of good things about them from my international friends. I’m planning on using it once I will need to transfer money when my parents pass

Yep, TransferWise is legit.

XE.com used to be my jam but then it shit the bed (I forget how, exactly, but they changed their pricing or something).
