aprilsails in all, it took about 6 months to complete. That wall was load bearing so we needed an engineered beam. The cabinets took the next longest bc they were custom built. Luckily, our contractor kept us functional for all but 2 weeks (one of which we were out of town)
Thanks everyone! We bought this house a little over a year ago, I knew when we bought that I was going to gut the kitchen. I’m so pleased with how it turned out.
Now onto the next project (master bath) because this entire house is stuck in the 90s
nicolewi, here’s a close up of that wall. That happened kinda accidentally. I was debating on how high to run the backsplash up the window. I decided to go all the way up instead of randomly stopping halfway. Then it looked weird that I stopped it vertically, so I went all the way down the wall.
