Friday: Off Saturday: 3 hour mtb ride Sunday: 3 hour mtb ride Our local trails have been closed a lot lately because of all the rain. My favorite trail was open this weekend for the first time in almost a month. How could I not spent 2 days there?
Lots of planks yesterday and some back strengthening exercises.
18 mile long run today.
I am so tired now; I can't wait to go to bed. A friend wants me to go get a margarita saying I earned it, but he can't go with me... I am way too tired to go sit at a bar alone. Maybe it is because I am tired and sore, so I am easily irritated, but I found that to be super annoying. Suggesting I go get a margarita but then saying Sorry! Can't go with you! I thought he was suggesting we go together.
Friday- rest day. Went out and got tipsy at a new place in Baltimore because my mamas friend was in town DJing. Fun was had! Sat- slow and lazy swim, ran around like a nitwit finding a lost wallet and then slept all afternoon. Sun- ran 10.5 with mama and tribestie.
Sat: I took little DS skiing for 3 hours on the bunny hill, drove the 45 mins back home and traded kids w H (one had practice) and drive back to the mountain and skied the diamonds with the big kids for about 4 houses The first part was physical bc lifting DS onto the chairlift, picking him up when he would fall, etc. The second half killed my legs bc it was mostly Moguls and I am oldddd!
Sun: Ran 20 miles. But when I got home I had enough time to shower then run kids around to errands and dropoffs, home to meal prep and get ready for the workweek.
I’m DEAD and my legs are trashed. But if I could do the 20 miler than I’m signing up for the 50k. That was my back to back. So here we go. I guess I’m in taper now!
