Finally got a new sofa in my formal living room (lived w/my grandma's ugly hand-me-down for 8 years). I think I need a new settee now - mine is a little too traditional. I need to add some curtains and buy end tables too (coffee table eventually but the kids play in there a bit). The long term plan is to refinish the hardwoods and get a baby grand piano too
Are your walls navy? That is the color I wanted in our dining room and the wallpaper I chose isn't quite as dark as I would have liked. I LOVE LOVE LOVE deep navy and white.

yes they are navy! It’s a Ben Moore colorbut i cant remember which one (it’s a little warmer than hale navy). Wainscoting is dove white. It’s cool to have such a dramatic room. I’m starting to carry more bold colors throughout my house.

My trim is also dove white and I just painted an old bench in Hale Navy. I'd love to go bold on walls on walls but I'm not quite there yet in this house, I did it on some accent pieces. Your wainscoting speaks to my texture-loving heart.
