So since I can't swim in a pool....how warm do I need the water to get before I can reasonably put on my wetsuit and jump in?
I don't have booties or gloves or anything extra. Just a cheap wetsuit.

I would go if it was 55 or higher.
I am also a little crazy and like swimming in cold water. I would be sure to have warm stuff to immediately bundle into when you are done.

really depends on how long you want to swim. Even around 55 for shorter times can be good for recovery and such.

Ok, now tracking the temp behind the ILs house. It's been holding steady in the high 40s.

My personal limit is 60, no wetsuit. So 55 seems reasonable with wetsuit, although I guess it depends on how many mm thick.
