I'm going to be planting. I'm still in the midst of planning and will probably mess it all up, but at least I'll be trying. I ordered some seeds: Perpetual spinach Tomatoes (small ones) Cucumber Zucchini Purple sprouting broccoli Pumpkin Sweet peppers Carrots

I just started some tomatoes, eggplant, bell peppers, and jalapenos indoors yesterday. I'm also going to plant zucchini, cucumbers, edamame, carrots, and beets.

I weeded our raised beds and so far have planted snap peas and Lacinto kale seeds. Haven't figured out the rest yet. Will definitely do tomatoes but won't start those for awhile.
For the first time, I'm trying tomatoes from seed - www.fedcoseeds.com/seeds/search?item=4083, if you're looking for a really good tomato. Our local extension did a tomato testing last summer and this was a huge hit.
I'll also do some smaller tomatoes. I usually do just containers, and it's just me, so I don't usually plant too much. I also live in a semi-rural area, so I have several farm stands to shot at for more good stuff.

I need to clean and de-weed my raised planters. Also find a place to add cucumbers.

We ripped out our large garden last fall.... still happy about it, it was an albatross that wasn't bringing me joy.
We'll shoe horn tomato plants, herbs, and maybe jalapenos into our beds. We expanded our mature flower/planting beds so I'll probably keep focus on those. SUPER excited to watch those new plantings grow
ETA: Hope my dahlias come back since it was such a mild winter

I added another raised bed so I can try growing spaghetti squash, cabbage, and celery. I tried carrots for the first time last year and they were amazing but I hadn't planted many - lots more this year! My garlic is looking very promising already.
This is my plan at the moment, but even though I LOVE celery this might be too much for one person

You may already know this, but just in case you don't: be careful about how you plant the raspberry plant. It will take over the bed, and perhaps everything, if it's not planted in a controlled environment.
I placed an order for a seed starting kit and a bunch of veggies and herbs. I normally buy plants or direct seed but I need something to help occupy my kids while we are stuck at home. So, trying to start everything from seeds this year.
Tomatoes (grape and Roma) Zucchini Pole beans Sugar snap peas Basil Thyme Chives Sage Carrots Leaf lettuce
I also am trying to find a trellis to go at the corner of my house for morning glories.
Bluestone perennials runs an amazing mid-winter sale when they are discontinuing some old varieties. I have a shade garden I’m trying to start and got a bunch of hosta, columbine, low grasses, phlox, geranium and ajuga.
I’m in zone 6 so I can’t start outdoor planting until early May. Ugh!
We finally got a plot in the community garden. I’ve never had a garden before! Planning to do tomatoes from plants, but other things possibly from seed. Any help would be appreciated! We’re in Charlotte, NC.

Ask away. I live in a way different climate but i'll give any advice or answer any questions I can. We've planted since I was a small child.
Just got a notification that my order has shipped. First to come in should be my seeds then the live plants I ordered. I have my large planters ready, Ive planned the rest and figure this weekend i'll have everything ready.
Our seeds were mostly a bust. DH has never grown things before and wanted the seeds to be "his" project. So, I just bought $75 in plants to get the herbs and veggies I want. I'm just glad that I was even able to find live plants.
