I am currently watching a guy run for 6 hours in his yard to raise $ for a charity. I guess this means the 7-8 miles I have planned for today isn't too terrible. I have 17.5 more miles to go to reach 100 miles for the month.
Just now heading out for a run of 6-7 part road, part trail. It's unusual for me to do this midday (I love morning runs) so it will be a good mental exercise. I need the alone time. I have to say that I've been very disappointed on my last couple of trail runs and people not respecting the distancing aspect. Last week I saw a group of neighbors from different households walking 5-across on a greenway trail, making no effort to move over to one side for others and they acted confused that I went way off the trail to avoid them and didn't stop to speak. It makes me leery to venture onto single-track trails nearby where there's no space to move over.

I did my long run yesterday of 12 miles. Did two extra miles to get a friend through his 16 and I’m feeling it today. I will do yoga, some strength and maybe try one of alternative swimming workouts that are going around. It’s suppose to rain and be super windy all weekend.

I have noticed the same and actually complained to my friend about it. I feel like I am the only one out there who moves over; everyone else just stays their course. It has been very frustrating.

I did 8 hilly, humid miles. It’s sunny and 70* out, and a LOT of people were taking advantage.
I, too, do the “move way over” thing. People just stay their course and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but still, come on. Don’t make me have to run in the middle of the street to avoid your ill advised group walk.
Other than that, it was so nice to be out in the sunshine!
I rode the Big Creek Greenway in Alpharetta, GA (another suburb of ATL) for the first time. Well, I'd been on the first 2 miles a bunch but not the rest. It was really nice! Not too crowded and nice and shady. I saw a few pairs of Mallard ducks and lots of flower! and pollen.

Great job everyone! I haven't tried running since all this started. I actually think it might stress me out instead of being relaxing since I feel like I'll have to be vigilant about avoiding people on the street. There aren't that many people out, but I live in a large city, so it's never going to be completely empty. Maybe I'll get up really early one day next week and see how it goes.
