Our outdoor faucet broke in the wall yesterday and came in the laundry room and family room. The family room floor is brand new so we can get the same floor most likely and repair it. The laundry room is destroyed completely. I don't want a wood look floor in there because it won't match the rest of the downstairs. Tile will likely be more than insurance will cover but I love the look of patterned tile. As an alternative I see lots of cute peel and stick options but I'd like something more durable. Does luxury vinyl only come in wood/plank style? What else is out there that comes in a patterned design?
I read a lot of good things about higher end sheet vinyl in cool patterns. Can you talk to a good flooring place to see if they have recommendations?
I like that option but when I search online I'm not finding many options that I like. If anyone can recommend a specific brand that would be great. I checked the store we used for our bathroom remodel and they had limited options.

im sorry I don’t know of brands. I love This Old House for recs though, you d check out their website. Good luck!
I’d do tile. If you go with a larger tile, installation will be less expensive. Switching to tile would be worth the extra expense for me. It’s so nice in a room like that to have a floor that I just don’t have to worry about.

I’m in sales at a flooring store. Check out COREtec stone. It’s a beautiful product and performs like LVP (luxury vinyl plank) but looks like tile. It’s larger pieces (generally) that click together like laminate or LVP. Waterproof and super durable. Ask any questions you have.
