I love the fabrics you choose, especially the blue ones
I'm obsessed with those blues! I need to find the right pattern for those fabrics...and I can't decide what fabric to use for a backing or binding. Most of the quilts I make are for friends babies/kids so it depends on who is getting it (i end up wanting to keep all of them but promised DH I won't - we do not need 20 lap quilts in our house!)
Yes, the cyst hurt like a motherfucker. That's why I went in. Actually, I went in a few months ago, but my Dr and I decided the pain might be intestinal, so we treated it as such. After 2 months of that I realized it was clearly cyclic and probably reproductive. I went in on Tuesday and demanded an ultrasound. My doc agreed, I had the US done that day, learned of the cyst the next day, met the surgeon that Friday and had the fucker removed the following Tuesday. I was in THAT much pain.
They did a hysteroscopy during the surgery and thought I had either a septum or a bicornuate ute. We were all surprised (incl the surgeons) when the MRI showed a much more mild arcuate ute. I suspect that the endo is smooshing my uterus, and thus making it appear more deformed when viewed from the inside. The endo is so bad that they couldn't really even see my uterus from above, during the laparoscopy.
Holy crap Berbles!! I've heard cysts are insanely painful. The Dr thought I might not have had a left ovary bc the cyst was squishing it and he couldn't see it on the u/s. I had zero pain though - which makes me nervous that I'll have another and not know it.
The RE dr found mine. I went to him after TTC for 9 mths and not getting KU. I just felt like something was wrong and since my insurance covered it I went. I'm glad I did since the septum was so severe.
Frankly, it was such a relief to have an explanation for some of the other symptoms I'd been having. The pain started in May, but I think the cyst has been there much longer (I doubt it grew to 10cm in 3 months).
And we've been trying for 8 months, which I know isn't a super long time, but I'm glad we didn't have to try for a year before getting the endo diagnosis. So there's that.
That's true. It was a relief for me too. I could not figure out why I was constantly bloated. Like INSANELY bloated...Dr said it was most likely the cyst. We're both lucky they found them before the burst. I've heard that it the worst pain ever.
