Does anyone have any ideas on type of work available on the weekends? I already walk for Wag and Rover and enjoy it very much but looking for additional income if I'm able to on the weekends. Thank you everyone.

A couple we're friends with do grocery pick up and delivery. They don't do the shopping (although you could look into being a Shipt and/or Instacart shopper), they simply pick up multiple completed/bagged grocery orders at a store and then deliver them to people's homes. They typically work between 10 am - 6 pm, with breaks during that time between when orders are ready, and have made a few hundred dollars per weekend. I think they make a flat dollar amount per delivery, and then people usually give them a tip.
You could look into companies hiring for work-from-home customer service, or if there have been a lot of layoffs in your state, the unemployment office might be hiring claims reviewers. Those types of jobs might not be as flexible as grocery shopping/delivery, though.
How are you with outdoorsy gardening and landscaping stuff? Around our area the neighborhood FB page is active with people hiring/offering up small services for things like mulch, planting flowers, hauling away bushes, mowing, painting fences, etc. Many are small projects that pro companies might not take on.

I do Instacart shopping and weekends are always the busiest.
does that work off tips and can you share about how much you make on a weekend outside of this covid stuff?
I do Shipt. The company pays you $5 plus 7.5% of the order total as your base pay and then you get tips on top of it. I haven’t shopped early March, but I think I was averaging around $21-24 per hour and on a weekend, I was able to fill all of the windows that I signed up for. Instacart and Shipt just hired a ton of people so now’s really not the best time to try it.
I haven't since COVID hit, but I drive here and there for Lyft for vacation money etc. I only drive during daylight hours to decrease the risk of any trouble.

Would you mind sharing how much you would typically make? My H was considering doing it before covid hit.

You get a certain amount per batch in the app (which you see ahead of time before accepting). The amount will include Instacart's payment to you as the shopper and the customer tip. Some customers will also tip additional cash when you drop off the items.
If I worked a full two-day weekend I would easily make upwards of $300-$500. I typically only do it for 3-4 hours a weekend because it is a side job for me so I make $50-$100 (I will also work a couple hours 2-3 weeknights in the winter). I love the on-demand schedule now instead of having to pre-schedule hours so it really does work great for working around any schedule you may have and you can pick the higher dollar batches.

It really varies. I could have Friday nights where I'd work like 5pm-9pm and make $100 and Saturday mid-afternoons where I'd work 4 hours and make $40. There's a learning curve for what people are doing at what time. Sundays at 10-11 downtown a lot of people check out of hotels and go to the airport. Saturday and Sunday mid-morning to mid-afternoon is brunch time. Figure out what events are going on (ha!) and plan around those. I could usually make $150 working 10 hours or so. I know full-time drivers who work about 50 hours a week and make about $1200
