I am running a 5K on Sunday at the historic Navy base in philadelphia, hoping to get a new PR. I'm looking forward to it as it will be totally flat and there will be a picnic afterwards. Anyone else racing?

I have 2 5ks this weekend. I'm not sure if I want to run or walk the one on Sunday - if I bring my dogs then I'll walk (it's a benefit for a local dog rescue).
I have a half on Saturday, and I still throwing around the idea of doing a second half on Sunday. The Saturday race is kind of going to suck- really hilly, no shade, but weather should be nice and the view is beautiful. I'm running with a group of girlfriends, and it's the first half for all of them.
Depending on how I feel after, I will be going to the expo and possibly signing up for the Sunday half that I really want to do. It shouldn't be the worst course, and I have a ton of friends doing it (over 200 people from my running group as well!). I wouldn't race the second half though, it would be just for fun.

The Color Run 5k tomorrow. I've had the flu all week and haven't run a step since Wednesday so I'm sure it will be a "Color Walk" for me. I understand they get pretty bottlenecked at the color stations anyway, so I wasn't planning on getting a PR or anything - just going to go have some fun.
I'm running my first half marathon tomorrow morning. I'm a little nervous! It's an easy course and the temp should be in the fifties. Eeek! Exciting but scary at the same time .
I'm doing my second race ever Sunday, Bay to Breakers in San Francisco!! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time! Hope everyone does well this weekend!

I am sort of! I have a 10 mile training run for my half (which is in 2 weeks- SD R&R!) and I'm running the last 6 miles of it in a local 10-K. It actually works perfectly, I'm going to run from my house to the start line, run the race, and DH will pick me up at the finish line. I'll probably finish last in the 10-K but I'll have fun anyway.
