I spot treat my blackhead prone areas with Cosrx BHA liquid nightly. It helps dissolve the gunk and makes it’s easier to remove with my double cleansing.

Bummer. We don't have the BHA 9 spot treatment in the UK - it appears we get some but not all of the PC products (or sometimes they have different names, but not this time). Oh, well.
Prescription retinol? It’s the only thing that has made a noticeable difference in my skin.
For me, unfortunately this is my answer too. Ive done BHA and AHA (yes, the BHA removes it, but for me AHA did some to help prevent it seemed), but those things stayed stubbornly forever. Prescription took awhile, but its the only thing that really diminished the blackheads for me.
