Well, I'm glad DH and I decided to cancel our DVC rental and book through Disney directly for our early August trip. It will be much easier to reschedule directly through Disney if we need to reschedule.

Just a FYI....
DLR used to allow booking for the month of June. As of right now the 1st bookable date is July 1st. They have not announced an extended closure of DLR for June but....

WDW is still bookable starting June 1st.

Shanghai Disney is officially opening on Monday. They will be using a reservation system and operating at 30% capacity. No fireworks or parades.

Gives me hope for November.

No fireworks? Oh man. That’s always the most magical part to me.

I'm not too upset about the parades and fireworks except we won't get Halloween party tickets if that is the case.

Oh this gives me hope that mine will be canceled, thanks! I’m assuming that if my check in is prior to the opening date - really hoping it is July 1st as I check in on the 28th...and though my check out is in July, my DVC reservation will get canceled, right??
