I love the teal, but are there any rugs or pillows or other decorative patio items that you'll be using out there? The teal gives it the pop of color it needs, but if you have other things that will bring in color to the patio, then the grey might work better.
We've been here two years and have nothing with pops of color at all. Our patio furniture is neutral gray, and I assume anything else we add in would be neutrals as well. We will eventually get a fire pit conversation set for the other side of the yard, but timing on that is... who the heck knows when if ever.
Another set of teal curtains has been ordered, to be delivered in 87 years at the new shipping speeds. (This set is Wayfair, which is still at least a week out on delivery right now). If these don't work, I'm calling it quits and keeping the gray. I've already go two sets that need to be returned (a "beige" that ended up pinkish brown, and now the teal tab tops).

Ha, I'm in the same boat. I need curtains in various rooms in the house but already have a pile waiting to be returned at BB&B and don't want to keep adding to it.
Not sure if it’s your thing, but what about making your own curtains for the pergola? Curtains are fairly easy to make and then you’d have more discretion in the final look. If you are not a sewer I’d check to see if your local alterations shop could help you out.
