.... nine freaking months of waiting to be told there was no abnormal findings on our DNA karyotyping.
He’s going to do a repeat full pelvic ultrasound and look at my dermoid cyst since it’s been a year. Repeat CBC, FSH, TSH, AMH, progesterone, and A1C. Wants to up my metformin dosage but do 2 pills a day since one/day at a higher dose made me super weak. And wants to up my letrezole dose which is what I used during my last loss.
Ultrasound is booked in a months time. So here we go I guess. H and I have been talking about this for months and we’ve agreed to try one more time. If I have another loss that will be it.
Generally I feel ok about it. I am not surprised about the results. Everything else up to this point has been normal so why should this be any different.

Ugh, waiting for so long to find out it’s normal is so hard. On one hand, that’s one that is less actionable if it comes back abnormal, so it’s good it’s normal... but it’s hard when clearly there is an issue but no one can tell you what it is. Sending good wishes to you.

Have you thought about doing a reoccuring loss panel? it'll check for things like blood clotting issues, MTHFR, gene mutations etc? My insurance luckily covered it and I think it was 10 vials of blood but it did tell us a lot.

I've had it all done in bits and pieces. No blood clotting disorders, lupus negative, etc. etc. I will have to ask my OB next time I see him if we did MTHFR because I'm not positive we did to that.

Do you see an OB or an RE?
I’m with an OB. The REs are not taking new patients right now. Once things open back up I may ask for a referral.

I had my RE do it. They're able to attach literally every reoccuring loss items that I'm not sure an OB is able too. The results also took a little longer - about 10 days total from draw to get them back and then another few days for them to be revied.
