Help me pick a sconce?

We're redoing a half bath with this wall paper:




And this vanity: (Imagine it with different hardware)


Which sconce?





Something else? Open to suggestion. The pattern of the paper does make it a little challenging.

I like the more simple lines of the brass one but I like the rounded shade of the first one. Are they fabric shades? I tend to prefer glass (easier to clean) for a bathroom.

If it’s a half bath is it critical that it have good lighting (ie are you going to be doing hair and makeup in there or is it just for toilet and washing up?)

I prefer the second choice. I think the first is too matchy to the wallpaper and will actually take away from how awesome it is. Here are some alternative suggestions. Some of these may be out there or out of budget. They are just options I might consider when I look at what you are going for:

Kicker lights are carried by most lighting distributors. I like using them for residential selections at work since their quality is very good for the price point and their styles cover everything I need generally.

aprilsails , it is our guest bath. We have three others so it isn't in heavy use at all. There is also an overhead light offset from this vanity area - so there is other light.

I agree about the black, DH likes it best and I like it too but I feel gold would sort of bling.

I think with that wallpaper you want something that contrasts, so I much prefer the second one.

I much prefer the second one. I think that it will really look great against that wallpaper.
