Platform bed recommendations?

H and I are wanting to upgrade to a King sized bed. We're getting this mattress and are looking in to getting a platform bed, but I'm overwhelmed by the choices. Does anyone here have a personal recommendation? We'd like to stay under $500. We would like it to have a headboard, but no foot board, and prefer upholstered over a metal or wood frame.
