We have August reservations. Been reading all the updates on disboards and there is still a lot of unknowns so we're not making any decisions at this point. We're still going to Florida to visit my grandmother with or without going to Disney.

Masks at WDW in July. Yikes.

I’m all for masks all the time. It would just be miserable there. We’ll wait until 2021 or 2022 to go back.

I’ll be so interested to see how they do this and if it works.

We had tickets for April that got extended.

I think the biggest issue is that my physician DH absolutely refuses to fly right now until we know more about virus transmission on planes. I don’t know what we’re going to do.

TamiTaylor, have you heard any info about WDW resorts? Or maybe I missed that in a different media release.

We are supposed to go in early August (staying at BW). I can't imagine having to wear a mask in FL in that heat and humidity. We're going to wait until mid-June to decide if we reschedule again.

DVC resorts will open 6/22. That was announced by Disney and is on the website.

Bob Chapek said that not all resorts will be opening. He did not elaborate on this point- I assume that it is due to the limiting the number of park guests.  This shouldn't matter since you are at a DVC resort, but I would imagine they will be changing around other people's reservations which is why they put a hold on accepting new reservations.  Nothing has been announced about this yet though.  They have closed resorts in the past (after 9/11 when attendance was low) so there is some precendent for that, although obviously completely different circumstances.

DVC will be opening. I think the plan is roll out resorts in stages but a plan should be coming.

So many questions still!! I’m glad Disney is rolling things out slowly and coming up with solid plans. We have a trip planned for November. We will see. I give it a 50/50 chance of happening. Also not sure if we will fly or drive at this point.

Thank you, TamiTaylor!  I totally missed that announcement.  We actually cancelled our DVC rental and booked a reservation at BW directly through Disney.  That is interesting about not all resorts opening.  I'll definitely try to follow the reopening news/announcements more closely!
