DS has decided he's ready for his room to be painted.. any recommendations? With DD, she wanted purple, I picked out 5 options I could tolerate and let her pick from there, so I'd like to do the same for DS..
He wants blue, which is a pretty large range. His bedding is below, but it doesn't need to be too matchy-matchy. Carpet is white (why?!?!), but eventually (in the next eleventy years, anyways) will be replaced with something TBD.
dr.girlfriend, how does it read on the walls? I'm on my work monitor and it looks gray with a heavy lean towards green undertones.
Our whole house is gray (some shade of gray.. not sure what, that was painted by the former owners) and I'm not sure it's a different enough color for him to think it's new.

Most of the time it's light blue looking. It does read green with some artificial bulbs, I've been meaning to change up the lightbulbs to see if that helps but I've been too lazy. I would probably not do the exact same color again, but more of a light blue, especially if you're worried about it seeming too grey. I do like that it makes a small cluttered room look pretty spacious, though, where a darker or brighter color might not. We mostly picked it because it was already on the walls and we just had to do a refresher coat. :-) We moved when I was 8 months pregnant.
My DS's room is SW Interesting Aqua. He's still crib age (1), but I don't plan to repaint or make new curtains any time in the next handful of years.
This picture (that I randomly found online) looks pretty true to how I think it looks IRL, since the actual pics I have in his room are not great, color wise:

For some reason when I view on desktop, I couldn’t see your pictures, but can on mobile. Cute room! Probably too much gray side for him (I personally think it’s great!)
We have usually been pretty color shy when it comes to paint, so this one is a big departure. I wasn’t even going to give it to him has an option, but it ended up being my favorite of all the shades we picked, and everyone loves it - including DH who kept saying it was too dark.
