The kitchen reno is on! Fake grass is off...

We have a date for our kitchen reno! 8 July is meant to be the start date, depending on the virus and whatnot. Shops and manufacturing have started so it should work out.

Here's a few pics of the plan & colours of stuff:






The cabinets are a dark blue grey. The counter tops are Dekton matt in Aura (pays homage to Carrara & Calcutta marble).




We're keeping our own french doors fridge. We'll have a new gas stove top, Siemens Gas Hob iQ700 Black Ceramic Glass.

We're doing two ovens, with one being a steam oven (the top one) which will be useful for baking bread and keeping meat moist. We're using Siemens again for the two of them.

We're wine lovers, so we'll have a wine fridge by Caple.

In the middle of the kitchen, where you would normally have an island, we have our very large dining table (which is also a pool table). Across from the main part of the kitchen (ovens, stove, etc), we'll have a set of drawers and cabinets which will act as a pantry of sorts along with the pull-outs around the fridge.

I'm very excited.

Love the cabinet color/countertop combo! I was wondering why there wasn't an island and then you mentioned that cool dining/pool table you posted before. It's going to be so lovely!

ETA: Oh, and why no fake grass?  Or was there fake grass there before and you removed it?

The installer tore his rotator cuff and so can't do it until the date we're getting the kitchen started...so we've put it off until after the kitchen is done.

A very dark blue grey. I've made the decisions for the past two kitchens so I allowed my H to have more input - and this is what he chose. I like it a lot and it's our forever home so it doesn't matter if anyone else doesn't like it.
