If you're standing right under it, you can feel movement, but even on the highest speed, if you're sitting in the furniture (which isn't directly under it) you don't feel much. It's not a problem right now because it hadn't gotten super hot there yet, but once the real summer heat sets in, I'd like it to be more comfortable out there. Our contractor told us that this (52') was the size to get, but they sucked and I'm wondering if outdoor spaces require bigger fans?
So do you think we should we get a bigger fan? Or just a different type? More blades? Does the heigh of the ceiling matter? The ceiling is a little over 9' out there. Thank you!
This might be a super-silly question but have you made sure it’s in “summer mode” and the fan blades are rotating the correct way to blow down the air vs. suck it up?

(I like the style of that fan!)
Funny you said that! When it first started getting warm and we started using the fan I kept checking that because I couldn’t figure out why it was so ineffective.

Ah, ok! It was only a couple years ago when I realized that even existed. Grew up in FL where it’s basically summer year-round with a few weeks of fall-like weather. 🤣
My only suggestion would to get something that has wider fan blades. Not a great picture, but below is what’s in our family room. I don’t love the style (was put in by previous owners) but it’s pretty big and effective. (Don’t know the diameter.) And it’s in large room with a high ceiling.
I would make sure it's going counter clockwise. The fan you posted appears to be the right size and 4 blades should be enough. You could possibly look at a 5 blade fan.
However, we don’t get excessively hot days and we are right on the edge of a massive farmers field (actually probably 10km of farmers fields) so we generally have too much of a breeze out there. Anytime we did turn it on last summer it worked for our needs.
