Does anyone have the MetLife legal plan through work? If so, have you used it to set up a will and/or trust? Any tips on how to best use it and maximize the benefit. This has been on my to-do list for a while and I know I need to go online to get started but am curious if anyone had any tips. Any questions you wish you would have asked during the process or do they just walk you through it?
We have it through DH's work and have used it 3x. Once for simple wills, second was for a whole package of updating our wills and doing a trust, and we just recently were able to use it for our refinance closing because the attorney is part of the plan.
My biggest recommendation is to research or get recommendations for the attorney before you use it. Then you go online and get a case number. The person we used the first time wasn't great, but we were just married and just needed simple wills done. It's also why we didn't go back to her.

I think mine was Hyatt Legal Plan but we've used it twice...once when we first got married to get our will/trust/powers of attorney/advanced directives etc. done, and then again about a year ago after a few family members passed away and therefore we needed to redo some of our guardianship stuff. I didn't have trouble getting an appointment or anything and there were no hidden costs...I just got a list of lawyers in our area that were covered (easy since we're the county seat) and then cross-referenced against some recommendations for family / estate lawyers in our area. We contacted the first person the second time thinking it would be easy to make the small changes rather than redoing everything, but they couldn't find our paperwork (!) so we went with someone else.
