Murphy beds?

I did a search and saw a DIY version and a few others who have these. we have a full size bed in our guest room and now that we are home all. the. time. and not anticipating guests I want to use the space more.

we have a full mattress and platform already. if you have a Murphy bed, does it work well. are you happy with it? have you slept on it? where did you get it or make it?
