I just opened an Amex savings account that is that same rate. I’m embarrassed to say that we had a sizable chunk in our Chase savings at an abysmal rate for way too long. We were going to do a house project but will likely wait until next year just in case something goes south economically soon.

TMobile money has 3% on the first 3k in your account, and then 1% on the balance. I also had an Amex, but they kept lowering the rate, until it was almost 1%. I haven't seen anything above that in a few months.

I have money in a couple different places, all of which are hovering around 1%. CIBC Agility Savings is currently the best at 1.05%, followed by Capital One Performance Savings at 1.00%, and FNBO Direct at 0.90%.
I had a bonus rate at Wells Fargo that got me 1.4% and the bonus fell off on June 28; now I'm looking at .06%. WTF. Are you all happy with the customer service at the online banks? I guess I'm an old, but not having the money immediately accessible with no brick and mortar makes me nervous.

I’ve used FNBO Direct for years with no problems. The rate stays competitive. I’ve never needed the funds in a hurry but I think you can expedite if needed.
(Just checked and they are at .90 with no minimums or fees)
