New here.. loss mentioned (sort of) questions

I am a occasional poster on other boards but mostly a lurker. I have lurked for support in the past. Today I am confused and am looking for someone that might relate and could offer guidance?

LMP- 5/22 not really tracking cycle length or ovulation. We were not TTC actively.
I had symptoms and got a positive HPT on 6/21

7/3 I had some brown spotting very minor that got worse on 7/4 but still minor. I went to ER on 7/4 and had an US. It showed 5w2d with gestational sack and yolk sack. HCG was 1946 (drawn around 11pm)

7/6 repeat labs which came back today and levels dropped to 1700 something

The spotting stopped. I have to go back in 2 days, when will this progress? Levels don’t decrease and then increase again? Do they? TIA

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It’s such a stressful thing.

I had 3 early losses last year, all of them started with spotting or finding out my HCG level had dropped. I wish I had a better story to tell you.
