Hello there H&F experts! I am re-evaluating my fitness options now that my gym is open and I'm not really ready to go back. I've been researching treadmills and am thinking about a Sole F63 (their basic model). Does anyone run on one of these? I have chosen this model based on these facts:
-I would use it mainly for HIIT/bootcamps - not long distance ( I prefer to run outside for that). I'd like to have the treadmill as my cardio option for distances like 400-800 meters as part of my workouts (I do not run fast, fwiw). I would also prob. run distances no longer than 3-5 miles when it was super hot or rainy out but not every day. My daughter runs xc and track and would also probably run a day or two a week, no longer than 3 miles. My husband would jog or walk, also short distance. -The belt is longer for the price range (60" vs 55") - important because my husband is 6'3" with long legs. -The motor - 3.0 vs 2.5 for most other brands entry level TM. I don't think 2.5 would suffice even for our low combined mileage -Price - under $1000 -Availability - can ship directly from Sole now
Things I do not care about: -Technology bells and whistles: Preloaded workouts, streaming TV on the screen, heart rate monitoring, iFit subscription etc. I use Pelaton digital and have dozens of my own self designed workouts, so I am good there. -Footprint - we have plenty of space and ceiling height -A fan
Does anyone have any feedback on this model or any other suggestions? I feel like I am taking such a chance ordering a TM without trying it out. Any help is appreciated!
I have a mid-range SOLE from 2014 (i think the F80). This may have changed since then, but it isn't very fast to switch speeds. That's not a deal breaker for me, but might be for someone doing tempos, etc. I've been happy with it.

I actually was able to go to Dicks and try it out! I had read reviews that it was slow to increase and decrease speeds and found that to be true. It felt good though.
The Bowflex bxt6 was the same price but there wasn't a floor model. The sales guy said the only difference was the BF is easier on the joints, not sure if that is true since I couldn't run on it.
It’s a bit more Price wise, I believe mine was 1400. but the Horizon 7.8 AT is pretty badass, especially for intervals. The speed dials are better than I ever could have imagined. The ease of moving up and down in speed and incline is so fast. I use it for speedwork and intervals with a different online platform but similar to peloton workouts.
It shipped directly and was there in like a week and a half during the shutdown.

I have a proform. Had it for about 5 years now, no major issues. Didn't try it before bought it, my partner mostly looked carefully at reviews. Hope you find something that works for you!
