1. 8 weeks today. We'll know the sex in about 10-ish weeks, but I'm debating doing the sneak peek test.
2. I'm definitely feeling more symptomatic. I'm way more nauseous with this pregnancy than I was with my son. No questions today.
3. We have an 11 year old Golden Retriever. She's having disc issues in her back and has some non-cancerous lumps now. We're not sure how much time she has left. I grew up with cats since my father wasn't a dog person. H already had our dog for a year when we met, so she was part of the deal. I am still much more of a cat person and once she's gone we will probably get a cat.
My dating ultrasound is tomorrow. PGAL is running full steam ahead. Damn COVID means H can't come in with me, but he's going to drive me and I'll FT him when I can. I go from feeling that everything will be ok to convinced that it won't and back again. I had a hard time sleeping last night, and I don't think tonight is going to be any better. Mercifully the US is at 9:30 am. With DS it wasn't until 3:00 pm, but I was in very blissful first pregnancy/no losses land so I was a tiny bit nervous but generally pretty confident.

1. How far along and team
28+2, itβs a boy.
2. Rants raves questions
Iβm so happy to be in 3rd trimester! And so uncomfortable and struggling so much with my GD diagnosis and not being able to eat anything. Iβm so hungry all the time. Not sure Iβm going to be able to continue to manage without insulin.
3. Do you have any pets? What was your favorite pet growing up?
We have a little terrier rescue named Teddy and he is the best and totally my first baby. β€οΈ
2. Feeling better and better and I hope all hints of nausea are gone soon as I get further into my second trimester! Today had me a bit panicked. I got an email from my insurance that they denied my genetic testing claim for $2,500! After a few phone calls, the testing company confirmed they no longer are in-network with my insurance... but the self pay maxes out at $199. Huge relief! With DD I paid a few hundred because I opted to find out the gender, so I was expecting similar so it was an anxiety filled morning that, thankfully, ended well!
3. If my name and avatar didn't make it obvious, we have a dog! He's really the best - super chill and so so good with DD. We always tell him that he is the goodest good boy ever, because it's totally true!
Thank you seeyalater52 and corgimom! Having this hurdle out of the way is a huge relief.
I told the tech my history when I got in there and she was merciful and told me almost right away there was a heartbeat and that I'd see the baby at the end (in Canada, or Ontario at least we only get to see baby for a minute or two once they've taken all the measurements, and only if things look right so the wait is torture).

1. How far along and team 13+3, boy
2. Rants raves questions I'm just grateful to not feel like garbage every day anymore. Lol. Oh! And either because of my AMA (36) or because of DS1 having pyloric stenosis (or both), we're doing our anatomy scan at the hospital -- which means my DH can be there. I'm SO glad he'll be able to be there with me and that he'll get to actually see an ultrasound in person.
3. Do you have any pets? What was your favorite pet growing up? We have a rescue pup who will be about 7yo this fall. He's the best with DS1 so I know he'll be great with DS2, too.

Sorry for the double post this week! achi so happy for you!! Will you get another scan next week? 1. 37w2d itβs a girl 2. The OB last week made it sound like I had days left a week later Iβm still pregnant. Which is partly good gives baby girl some time to finish baking and master a few skills. Itβs a hard waiting game! My practice hardly had any appointments for this week so I had one last Monday and wont go again until Thursday of this week. 3. We have a dog Loki and heβs a sweet pup! Growing up we had cats my favorite was a sweet black cat named Sophie. I got her as a bribe to stop sucking me thumb.

At this point my next scheduled ultrasound is in 4 weeks. I wish I didnβt have to wait as long, but Iβve had no complications or concerns with this pregnancy (other than my own fear) and my losses were all well before this point so thereβs no βrealβ reason for more.
