I remember Rachel was a pretty "old school" Republican. Nothing wrong with that, except that they were proud to be rich, white, usually racist. Basically Trump supports 30 years ago.

They went in lockstep with the other Rs in their devolution.

FYI There are a few seasons of My Worst Nightmare on Hulu. Basically, it's unsolved mysteries but they're actually solved, so you get to see some survivors on occasion, and you see the results of trials. Some ended very satisfyingly. I like to think I'm anti death penalty, but I sure didn't mind when that was the result for a few.
They had an ep on John, shit, I don't remember his last name, Heist? The guy who murdered his entire family and disappeared for something like 30 years and was found remarried, employed, living in VA. Unsolved mysteries had a very similar story right down to the lost job and religious fanaticism which happened more recently, about a family in France.

I meant to write last night that VH1 had a marathon of "I Love New York" last night. I missed that one, couldn't really get in to Flavor of Love or the spin offs, but last night got a bit sucked in. Wow did they emphasize her um, assests.
We should do a throw back reality show thread, this has been fun.

I was able to watch MAFS last night, but missed the first 30 minutes.
I give it to Christina, it seems like she's being pretty nice to Henry and at least on camera giving it a try and trying to have fun. He would drive me crazy worried about everything too. Also, does anyone think he might have Tourette Syndrome? I swear it looks like he has involuntary twitches.

Yes!!! Poor guy, it was terrible at the ceremony. If not tourette's he definitely has a tick that seems worse when he's anxious.
Ok that's what I thought. I mean clearly he doesn't seem like the type who's going to open up about much, especially not a medical condition, but was wondering if anyone else had noticed. I honestly want to see what his interviews were like with the experts. Or maybe it's really just the editing that makes it seem like he really doesn't even talk?!? And why would he even agree to be on a show?! So many questions!

I wonder the same things about Henry. He seems like a nice guy, but like way too nervous to do this process, so why sign up? Trying not to comment on the second thing. Lauren from 90 Day Fiance had the same thing and had a really hard time with the comments.
When Road Rules went to Nogales in Mexico, I’m pretty sure it was the first season, they went to these dance clubs that so many os is frequented in HS. I was not there, but lots of people from my HS were, so it was all the town before RR came out!
Oh man, this makes me realize I don't really remember anything about Road Rules. I know I watched it, but definitely can't remember anything about places they went. Would love to see it again!
I still remember them doing a suicide- prevention video to a Third-eye Blind song. Every time I hear that song I think of that video.

aliciabella, yessss! And that poor lady Anne maybe(?) she was in a bad car accident before the show, but then had a story relevant to every situation.
They pretty much have phased out all RR people from the Challenge. I think I said that before but I think the last hangers on were Mark (who then hosted), Suzie (Australia) and someone else. I remember Mark got around on the challenge, he dated Robin for a long time, then someone else and that caused drama, then he hosted reunions and after shows.

A third eye blind song might put me on the edge of offing myself. 😆
Also Tania freaking out in the car after Syngin rolls forward is pretty fucking rich considering she’s wearing her seatbelt under her boobs.
Why do all these reality show women have seatbelts that way? I’ve never met a person IRL who doesn’t wear their seatbelt correctly. Is it a weird tv/vanity thing?

I said the same thing to my DH who I have beat into submission to watch this show. Like, please girl, I get the trauma of a car accident, but wear your seatbelt properly! It just doesn't make sense.
But to your point, I have always noticed the lack of seatbelts in most reality shows. I don't know why that is or just what other people do in other parts of the country because everyone I know always wears it.

It’s so weird! Everyone I know wears it right, everyone. And I’d totally call out someone who wore it wrong.

Now I have to google how to properly wear a seat belt to make sure I'm doing it right. I always wondered if there could be consequences of crimes committed on film? Like the Teen Mom folks who never use car seats or seat belts, could they later be prosecuted?

Shane and Veronica were on not too long ago. It almost seemed like they were trying to bring back old timers but now they’ve just started bringing in cast members from shows like Big Brother.

Legally? Absolutely with an improper child restraint and an accident the parent could be charged with negligence.
With all due respect, isn't there only one way to wear a seatbelt. I kinda feel like it is simple enough, lol.

Oh sorry I wasn't trying to say anything bad or negative about people with Tourette Syndrome. Nor saying that he needed to disclose it to anyone.

Yeah I assume there's really only one way to wear a seat belt, so without having seen these particular shows I'm curious how you could wear it wrong unless you put the strap behind your back (I know people who do that because "it's not comfortable)?

Tania put it under her boob.
Sutton has quickly become one of my favorite housewives. "Is there a better side to Lisa Rinna?" LOL
Garcelle is probably my #1 right now.
WTF to that producer practically frog marching Denise back in? Are they that desperate for a storyline? This must be all they have. They should be damn thankful that there's nothing else on tv, and we're watching a lot more now than before. Otherwise I think far fewer would watch this garbage.

Under the armpit. The teen moms wear it this way and I know I’ve seen other reality folks do this too.

So I got sucked into "Selling Sunset" on Netflix. Has anyone seen that? It almost feels like it's "The Hills".
I got caught up on 90d Happily Ever After. I am sorry.. but Coltee just needs to give up on women. As long as he's a Momma's boy, he's going to lose big time. And he really needs to stay away from the foreign girls.
I am over Syngin and Tania. She was a little over dramatic in the car. I mean, I can understand having some anxiety issues after an event like a car accident, but dang, she really put on a waterworks show. My first thought was, "wasn't the accident a while back? has she not been in a car since?".
And I will NOT watch "Darcy and Starcy, um Stacy". I didn't like the Family Chantal and I think this one is just going to be a trainwreck.

The seatbelts rub against the mic. Anyone who is wearing a bra has the mic mounted between the breasts, exactly where the seat belts hit. Most men/anyone not wearing a bra have it fastened higher on their shirt collar, so it's less likely that the seat belt hits there. Or it's taped to their skin in a place the seat belt won't hit. It's usually less time consuming to ask the talent to move the seat belt than to stop and re-mic them.

Tania made a post that I saw in a FB group and claims she wears it “under her tits” because she’s known a few people who were killed or seriously harmed by wearing the seat belt the correct way.
