morecoffeeplease I'm not defending Malia in the least. She should have asked Hannah directly. She's a snake. So, sorry if my posted sounded like I was defending with my statement that the capt should know.
Also, the "man up" bullshit after a legitimate complaint about "sweetheart." Gah. Infuriating. This is no longer must-see for me. I'll wait a few days until I'm bored enough before watching an episode. I should probably pop a blood pressure med before the next episode, though.
No no. I totally understood what you posted, I just went off on my own malia sucks rant lol
They have a talking head with the woman who is in prison, and didn’t show up to the sugar daddy...what do you think happened?
I can’t believe the other couple, who stopped to get married is late for the halfway house.
I was sad to see that Maurice wasn’t able to leave LA. He knows it’s bad for him, but he’s trapped.
I think I missed her TH. Honestly, all I thought in that scene is that maybe David from 90df should try a jail dating site since Ukraine hasn't been working out for him. I can equally believe scam and not released. It's not like our prison system functions perfectly.
WTF was with them? They were running 40 minutes late for a ceremony that took 5 minutes? The whole thing was WTF. I figured I missed some major backstory from the previous episodes. At a minimum call to give a heads up. This is not a situation where you ask for forgiveness, not permission. The very first thing you do is take accountability.
Agree wholeheartedly with Maurice. He went to jail at 17, right? He knows it's not good. His friends and family have died in those years. Like, let the guy go! I wish there were at least some transition housing available for parolees to keep them out of their old neighborhoods while they await those 60 days.
I'll have to find the previous episodes.
Yes just a kid. And it’s a notoriously troubled area. He doesn’t know how to be an adult in the RW, why the hell would they put him back where he started. He seems to really want to do better, and it’s like intentional sabotage (our prison system is so fucked up).

Also, I watched the newest episode of Marrying Millions. The cheap ass guy who didn’t pick up the tab at the fancy restaurant, knowing his girlfriend doesn’t have the money?? What an asshole. Go to a cheaper place if you plan on splitting the bill. Gross, he’s on a weird power trip. Just because you pick up the dinner tab doesn’t mean she’s gonna take you for all your money, fucker.
MAFS watching Henry is just painful. He's just so awkward and afraid of the world. I'm sure he's a lovely man but I wouldn't have the patience for it.
I really like Miles & Karen, Woody & Amani and Amelia & Bennett.
I don't have a good feeling on Brett. Olivia seems so sweet and kind but I don't get good vibes from him.
I am glad to see that she’s somewhat flexible on children. I thought for sure that was a terrible decision, to put two people together who didn’t agree on whether to have them. But since she seems like she’d be willing for the right partner, it doesn’t seem that bad.
There's actually a lot of truth to that (Mary Roach's Stiffed has a whole ton on this). There has been criticism for years about all sorts of safety tests using "average male" as the only test subject. However, there are now numerous products to adjust belt height.
I haven't found anything that works!
I have the same problem with seat belts, especially if I’m wearing a sports bra.

There are so many options!
Cars and safety features have been altered to fit all kinds of people, being short and/or big boobed is not a good reason to wear your seatbelt incorrectly!

Jalapeñomel, I got caught up on the previous LAL. I don't know about catfish given the in prison filming. But con, yeah, I can get on board with that. But, she's caught on video. I just don't think conning someone like that is illegal. He sent money of his own free will, sure, on the premise she'd move in with him, but "changed my mind" seems like plausible deniability. Kinda like being able to keep an engagement ring. It's considered a gift, and you don't have to return it.

Ah but Judge Judy says you have to return the engagement ring! It’s a contract not a gift!
Did he say it was illegal? I missed that part. I wonder if it’s just for added drama.

No one said it was illegal. I was just musing.
I stand corrected about the engagement ring. Maybe it's after a marriage it's no longer returnable? I only play a lawyer on SVU, and that doesn't come up there.

Ah I see. I’m also not a lawyer, and I watched a lot of judge Judy stoned in my 20s, so maybe I’m not a good judge. 🤣

So the last thing on MAFS as we're on to a new week...I wonder if they asked Amelia and Benette about kids before matching? They seem like a great match, but is she open to adoption? Is he ok with potentially moving so many times, and then being the primary parent (depending on when they plan to have kids) as she'll have to work 80+ hours a week for the next few years. I like most of the other couples and hope that Henry can open up because I like is wife and think she can be goo for him. Like Gummy I'm worried about Brett. I think the guy he was at the Bachelor party is more him. I feel bad if Olivia is giving in to kids just because it's what you do. At least she seems to have a good idea of what they entail, and has an idea of what she wants to do with her life before committing to kids, but yeah then don't match her with someone who seems to really want them no matter what.

I do remember them asking about children, because Bennett said he'd be a SAHP.

Or the asshole who does not want to give his girlfriend a raise because she lives with him. What a douche. Reminds me of my friend who works in sales and in pulls in the most in her department (she is the only female). Her boss has said that he does not want to pay her more because he knows what her husband does and basically how much he makes, so why does she need more money.
A man would never have that said about him. It is enraging.
