NYE in Sydney

Does anyone have suggestions on where to watch the fireworks New Years Eve in Sydney? We'll be staying at the Four Seasons in the Rocks, so I imagine we'll be able to walk easily enough to most places in the area.

Down near Circular Quay or around in the Botanical gardens are prime spots. I haven't been down for a few years but it's common for people to claim their spot early lunch (pack a picnic), in the heat this can make a long day!

Australia has been on my and H's bucket list for a while, too, so we decided why not visit at New Years? Hopefully we're not getting ourselves in over our heads!
