If you have a Jo-Ann Fabric near you

I need help tracking down some fabric. DD wants me to make her an LGBTQ pride mask, and I found a rainbow fabric online at Joann, but it’s not in any stores near me and isn’t available for shipping.

Pdq- she only just recently came out as bi and we’re supporting her on it. She saw a pride mask go by my Facebook feed in an ad and got really excited about the idea.

Not available near me, stores have been so picked over lately, it’s crazy. Hopefully you can find something she likes equally as much

There's one yard at a store near me. But I can't go today and it won't let me order it for pickup. If nobody else has it near me, I can call tomorrow morning to see if it is still there.

I agree it’s so sweet for you to make it given the circumstances but I’d also suggest Etsy or someplace else you can support an LGBTQ+ owned business. I actually think it’s a good lesson in supporting the community in their pursuits rather than bigger businesses!

It does not have to be that specific fabric. She initially wanted one in an ad, but it’s cheaper to make our own. I liked that one because it most closely resembles the pride flag, as opposed to just rainbows

PM me your address. I have some rainbow fabrics I bought there recently. I don't have that exact one, I have some rainbows on white, shooting stars with rainbows on black and the rainbow plaid, (which might not work as the color changes are too long). I'll send you some of each if you want.
