For those that bought the Tom's ballet flats - can you report in on comfort compared to the regular Tom's?
H just got me the burlap regular Tom's (sweet of him, but I don't like them). I'm trying to decide if I want to switch for regular ones or the ballet flats.

I own several pairs of Toms, but not the ballet flats. I tried them on in the store and they ran huge, I had to go down a full size from the size I usually get in Toms. I usually get a 9 1/2, I tried a 9 and they were sliding off my heel, and then when I tried on the 8 1/2, they didn't slide but they felt a little crowded in the toe area, so I left empty handed. They seemed like they'd be comfy if I could ever get the right fit!
Hi Kare, I have a pair of the burlap ballet flats and they're really comfortable for me except one area. I have no idea how to explain but the bone just behind your big toe, well, mine tend to rub a slightly on that causing some redness. They've stretched out a bit allowing them to not squeeze so much though. It's not enough to stop wearing them but they do leave marks on my feet. I also don't have wide feet in the slightest. I was thinking of getting a pair of the black leather ones, thinking the leather might be slightly more forgiving in areas like that, or at least softer but who knows. Other than that small detail they're fabulous... I can see how people might be a bit of toe cleavage though. My toes don't do it but a friend tried mine on and she has longer toes (?) than I do I guess and she had a little cleavage there... I know some people don't care for that.
I have the ballet flats and first they did feel big. I usually wear a 6. I ordered them in a 5.5 and contemplated sending them back for a 5. They were flopping off my feet but for some reason they don't seem to have that problem anymore. I guess my feet are just swelling during the day. My reply probably isn't going to be helpful for you.

I tried them on and they definitely were big on me. Once I got the right size they just didn't seem that comfortable though. Maybe there's a break in period like the regular ones. Will be going back this weekend and I'll let yall know what I end up getting!
I have worn mine 2 or 3 times and they rub my feet raw. The sales associate at Nordstrom swore they'd stretch but I haven't noticed that they have. Same with my wedges, I hate them both. I want to take them back but I've had them since March, so I don't know if I can now.

I have a pair and LOVE them. They're super comfortable on me. My co worker loves hers too. For an idea of sizing, I wear an 8 in the ballet flats, 8.5 in the regular toms, and 9 in the wedges. The ballet flats do not stretch like the regular toms so I would not buy them if they're too tight.

I have a pair and wore them for the first time to my graduation last weekend..gotta say I like them, but don't love them. I LOVE the way they look, but comfort-wise..they were only okay. They felt supportive, but my big toe is kind of rubbing (and I did size down one whole size for them to fit) and I ended up with a bit of a blister on my heel. Sigh. The bigger size (my normal size) was just way too big. Think I'll be sticking with just one pair..it's a shame because they're so freaking cute!!!
