We have AAA. My parents gift it to my sister and myself each year for Christmas. We do occasionally use the discounts for hotels and stuff. James had to have his truck towed last year, and the cost savings from that alone covered the cost of the membership.

I have a membership. We used it for our honey moon and saved 500 dollars with it. We also got a discount at tmobile with it which paid for it plus every year, but that discount just ended. We do get 15% off at the NFL store which has come in handy. We don't travel a ton so I haven't to really used it much for travel since our HM. I haven't been very impressed with the hotels I've gotten discounts with. They weren't terrible just not great.
I haven't had to use it for roadside yet, but that's another huge perk. Both my boss and mom had flats recently and AAA saved them a lot of time and pain. I'll probably keep it for that. Keeps a bad day from becoming a terrible one.
Sarack - work is crazy today and someone called out sick. Hoping to visit this afternoon but I don't have high hopes

We do!! They've been a LIFESAVER a few times, and it makes it allll worth it when you really need them. We have saved money at hotels (our anniversary trip to Portland is a good example) and car rentals and stuff. I'd highly recommend them!
We have it (well we thought we did but it expired due to our credit card being stolen) but we just renewed it. I like knowing they will come out anytime and help me wherever I am. I also use the discounts at hotels and what not.
I've always had AAA and it has come in handy a couple times with flat tires/broken stupid VW.. lol Plus the perks are quite lovely, especially since we travel so much and stay in hotels a lot.. I often forget to ask about perks with anything other than hotels though.
I had it for a good many years. It was a so lovely for help with flat tires, etc. I personally didn't find the hotel discounts significant, usually 10% at the cheapo places we use for travel. I actually wouldn't mind getting it again, especially since there were several times I needed help and H didn't answer his damn phone and my MIL was up at the casino and too far away to come save me.
My grandma used to pay for our membership as part of their family one. But once my mom and my sister moved in with them they gave them the memberships. I just haven't gotten around to getting my own membership.
